3 O’Clock Prayer in Latin – Divine Mercy

English & Latin Text. “At three o’clock, implore My mercy, especially for sinners; and, if only for a brief moment, immerse yourself in My Passion, particularly in My abandonment at the moment of agony. This is the hour of great mercy for the whole world. I will allow you to enter into My mortal sorrow. In this hour, I will refuse nothing to the soul that makes a request of Me in virtue of My Passion…” (Jesus to St. Faustina, Diary, 1320). “…as often as you hear the clock strike the third hour, immerse yourself completely in My mercy, adoring and glorifying it; invoking its omnipotence for the whole world…” (Jesus to St. Faustina, Diary, 1572).

There is no 1 official formula for the 3 O’Clock Prayer, but these are the most commonly used prayers. Jesus died on the Cross for Love of us at 3pm. Remember Him and raise your heart & mind to Him, immersing yourself in His Mercy.

In Nómine Patris, et Fílii, et Spíritus Sancti. Amen.

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

in Te confído!

*Together as one (in unum) as they are the One Jesus: She specifically used the singular form of the verb in the original Polish—though she could have just as easily used the plural—when addressing the Blood & Water, and again in I trust in You (singular).

You expired, O Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.
O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Sanctus Deus, Sanctus Fortis, Sanctus Immortális, miserére nobis et totíus mundi. (ter)

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world. (x3)

Jesu, Rex misericórdiæ, in Te confídimus! (ter)

Jesus, King of Mercy, we trust in You! (3x)
